May Music: Day Seven

Yesterday (Day Seven) was spent working with a lot more students. But instead of dancing, we were playing piano and some singing. My Tuesday was thus dominated by two major figures: Bach and Adele. Bach, because he's essential obviously! And since getting a bunch of new singing students, I found the easiest song to figure out their interests and voice levels is "Someone Like You" by Adele. Everyone seems to know the words, everyone recognizes the piano accompaniment, and everyone likes belting out the high notes and whispering the husky introduction.

So happy (belated) Tuesday! I remember finding this clip a couple of years ago on a friend's blog and then actually seeing this guy in the subways. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
