Let me begin this post by saying that I'm sorry I've disappeared the last couple of days. My house has lost Internet and all ties to the outside world. Wednesday there was a big storm that cut out all the power and phones, etc., and though all other modern connections and conveniences have returned to us, the Internet has not. Yes, it's inconvenient But besides missing blogging and reading blogs, I can't say I've missed it too much. It gives me an excuse to take a break from all the emails!
Anyway, though i still don't have Internet and am saving most of my daily music posts for when it returns (they're saying tomorrow, we'll just see), I wanted to get this up before it's too late! So posting from my phone it is!!
Mothers' Day is tomorrow! And I had a student's parent (specifically and obviously a dad) come up to me last week asking if I could think of any mother-related, kid-appropriate songs for a Mothers' Day playlist. I couldn't! And he had basically given up the search because, as we've discovered, finding mother-related, kid-friendly songs is hard (hello 2Pac, oh hey Eminem!).
So for a week and a day, I worked on putting together the perfect kid-friendly Mothers' Day playlist, with a little help from the co-worker!
I gave the playlist to him with the obvious proviso that I would post it here as well! So enjoy! I hope it makes your Mothers' Day with Mommy extra special!
