Yesterday was Valentine's Day. If you participate in Western culture at all, then this is stating the obvious. So many people actively hate Valentine's Day. Many more shun it and pretend like it's no big deal. And many more celebrate it religiously, especially those who have a significant other around that time of year for the first time.
I am neither a lover nor a hater of Valentine's Day. I do not have a significant other, but I'm also not upset about it. Valentine's Day can be fun without the date-night. And you can enjoy treats as a single lady without the pathetic pint of Ben & Jerry's.
So Happy Belated Valentine's Day to all! Hope it was filled with hugs and kisses, even if it was only Hersheys! <3
