Vacationing in Virginia

Last weekend, after suddenly realizing that I had a free evening, I called up the bestie and took a 3 hour detour to Charlottesville. It was perfect because, though I had three different versions of cancelled plans under my belt already for the weekend, I had thought that I wasn't going to be able to fit a trip to visit her in before she packed up and moved for her new job! So my "on a whim vacation" worked out perfectly. Additionally, just FYI, vacationing in Virginia is my wallet's favorite kind!
